Fuel The Flame
Three recordings made before the filing system had language for what it was capturing. The anger, the exhaustion, and the counter-signal that came before any of it had a taxonomy.
01 · Body — Fuel The Flame
Signal breaking through the numbing layer of a digitized existence. When everything is
virtual, nothing is lived. The witness has become a conduit for a curated version of
themselves, and this is the recording of the moment they noticed.
"Cut the wire, let it burn / Signals fading, won't return."
"Choke the signal, let it drown / Burn the system, tear it down."
02 · Pressure — Shallowed Breakwater
The wall built to protect us has nothing behind it. A finding, not a feeling. The was reported
flat, the way you'd log a structural failure. The world closing in: wars, drought, an
accumulating catalog of ways to die that everyone keeps surviving anyway.
"Watching it all unfold... there are so many ways to die, in this world."
"I haven't had enough lives to make it through this."
03 · Rupture — Stand Together
The one break in the record that isn't collapse. Armor coming off instead of a wall
coming down. "Daddy said 'boy don't you show your pain' / that lesson stops here
with my name."
"Some say a man can't cry, but some folks are living behind their lies."
04 · Temporary Beauty — Stand Together
Community, found exactly where the wall used to be. Not resolution — a counter-signal
inside the same damage the rest of the record documents. This track does not get
flattened into the archive's cold register. It isn't supposed to match.
"We don't have to fight alone. / These walls we built ain't home. / We lay our armor down and stand together on this ground."
05 · Collapse
No verdict filed.
"We all make it to the end."
Read it as consolation. Read it as a sentence. The record doesn't say which, and the archive
won't decide for you.
